Setting up non-NAT with W2K server

Post by ttgpm »

Hi guys im wondering if you can help me with this problem. Im wanting to use the NAT and routing capability of Windows 2000 Server for testing purposes. To do this I wish to set up the WAG54G in such a way that it functions as a dummy switch. I have played with the various setup options of the router and set my ISP assigned addresses (ip, subnet, gateway, dns) to the computer network interface card. I have come to realise that there is no means that im aware of to enter username and password on the router to dial to my ISP (except for PPoA, which is not what i want to do in this situation)? Can anyone provide me with some guidance to solve this problem?
