| Hi, I hope someone can help me! I bought my son's PS2 used at a pawn shop and the do not have the code which the previous owner used to set the parental code for playing dvds. Is there anyway to re-set it? thanks in advancefor your help! |

I think the overriding code is 7444.
The full procedure would be to put in a low rated movie (eg G) and when its playing pushing SELECT. Press X while SETUP is highlighted. Use the D-Pad to select CUSTOM SETUP.
Select PARENTAL CONTROL. The system will ask for a password. Press SELECT and it will ask you if you want to delete the current password.
It will ask you to enter a password. Enter the overriding password: 7444.
The password should be deleted and will allow you enter anther as well as change the level you want, from 1 - 8. |
