Hi, David!
I've read an article about your Mowecam
(http://www.computerra.ru/gid/prodigi/226443/) and decided to test
this tool at my Sony Ericsson K700i. I've donwloaded and installed
the applet, allowed it to access Internet and Camera and configured
it.
After I press "Start" nothing happens  The status remains
"stopped" and no connection was established. I hope you could help
me 
That kind of applets can help people to make some simple online
translations of something interesting, you know.

Hello Alexey.
I have not tried Mowecam on k700i. The k700 and k750 should be very similar so I expected it to work Are you sure you have set up the permissions correctly?
Applets are java code on the web, Midlets are Java code for mobiles |

Yes, "midlets" of course.
I allowed Mowecam to access internet and mobile camera, but it doesn't work. BTW, it's not the first time when I'm not able to use some midlets which work with camera. I think that the problem is in K700i
Here're some technical details. I hope it will be useful somehow for further development of Mowecam.

Display software version: 200406041
Camera software version: 3.1
