|

I have a WAG54G ADSL Gateway but have a problem with:
Port Forwarding
Port Range Forwarding
I enter information such as port numbers and then click enable Plug & PLay. Then click Save Settings. The screen changes and says that my changes havd been updated successfully but it does not retain my information in the table . It only retains the default settings.
I have (as advised by LINKSYS tech support)
upgraded the firmware
reset the Router (finger on the reset button for 10 secs)
LINKSYS Tech Support told me to take it back to the manufacturer but I've only had it a week.
Any help appreciated

What firmware do you have? On my port forwarding screens, there is no "plug & play".
What browser are you using? I have noticed some issues with Mozilla (Firefox) so I always use IE when accessing the router.
If you mean you check the "enabled" box, and the Save settings and when the screen refreshes that your settings are gone... then it does sound like a bad router. Definitely get it exchanged on warranty. |
