My friend dropped my PS2 and now the fan seems to be broken. The system overheats and shuts off and the reset light keeps flashing, how do i fix it?

Maybe the connector for the fan is shot. Use a tester and check the solder points to see if they're good. You may also try either another fan, or soldering the existing fan directly to the board. Be warned, that if you solder the fan to the board, there may be no way of connecting it otherwise. Hope the info helps.
