hi everyone,im in the process of buying a 42inch phillips plasma but when i get it i want to run it with my dell computer +ntl box thus hoping to control everything through the computer, could someone tell me if this is possible and if so how to do it?? , i have also had the idear of buying a media box and getting around it that way but trying to find one is proving hard enough in itself, hope ive managed to explain myself ......thankyou hicks46  |

What do you mean "... to control everything through the computer"?
If you want to record from the ntl box onto your hard drive, maybe even have a PVR solution, you will have to lead the video signal via the computer.
You will still need to use your NTL remote to change channels however.
The Plasma TV will support multiple inputs so if you are not interested in PVR, you would connect the ntl box and the computer separately... and probably achieve better quality. |
