I have a Techwood Plasma. The problem I have is that when I pass the Sky digital signal through the tuner the lip sync is out. The sound is about half a second before the video.
Anyone any ideas~?

This is a common issue with plasma TV's. Because the video signal has to processed digitally (interlacing, scaling and etc) it will be delayed.

The delay will depend on the quality of the electronics used in the plasma TV.

I sometimes get a noticable lip sync problem on Sky but a power cycle of the top box solves this so I guess this due to digital processing in the top box it self?

Higher end amplifiers let you add a delay to the sound.
