Ok well i figured out how to get it out. Now i just need to know if there is an alternate way to turn on the ps2 and i dont mean main power i mean the on/eject buttons switch because my ribbon ripped thanks for any response. Very Happy

Yeah, the ribbon is well fiddly. Did rip of completely or just get disconnected?

just a few holes but enough to make it not work i ordered a new one but it didnt help either

Hopefully something on the board isn't blown. Try re-seating the cables. Try it without tightening the screws (or putting in any) to see if something is being pinched. Try changing the buttons (the little board with the power/reset/eject). Hopefully one of those will work.
