ps2 rest botton is on red light but it do not turn on green or eject when i press the button. i take the siler wire out and put it back in again and it do not work. please help.  |

BUMP!!!
me too with this prob...... i checked all connections and the silver ribbon with a multimeter and it looks good.... but it sits with LED on red and the buttons dont work.... i opened it to clean it... something i do every few months.....
anywho... i didn't mean to hijack your post.....

The little board with the reset/eject buttons could be bad. If you can get another one to test it with, that would be nice. Just remember to ensure that it's turned off and preferrably plugged out before you do any work on it. Hope the NFO helps.
