when i put a disk into his ps2, only the 1st menu comes up (browser menu and configuration) and it has enter and yeh please help urgently!

If you go into the BROWSER and put in a disk, does it say "READING" or does it do nothing? Does it do anything at all that you can see in the BRWOSER? Can you access your MEMORY CARD or use your CONTROLLER? If you can use the PS2 all the same, but you can't read any disk at all (movies or audio CD's included) then the lens could be damaged. Before jumping to conclusions, please post any additional information and the answers to the questions above.
