| THE GAMES/DVDS WILL LOAD ON AS NORMAL AND PLAY JUST FINE, THE PROBLEM IS JUST THAT THE COLOUR IS NOT RIGHT, THERE IS PURPLE AND GREEN ALL OVER THE SCREEN, YOU CAN STILL SEE EVERYTHING ALRIGHT, JUTS NOT IN THE RIGHT COLOUR. IVE TRIED CHANGING THE WIRE AND EVEN TRIED A DIFFERENT TV. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Maybe the board got damaged. Is the console chipped? (Mod Chip?) You've tried another AV cable you said........when the cable is plugged in, try jiggling the wires/connector where it plugs into the PS2 and check what happens. Maybe the connector at the PS2 end is damaged. If it is, and you can see where the damage is (bent/broken pins) maybe you can solder it. Check and post your results. Thanx, and hope it helps.
